Kidepo Valley National Park.

Located in the far north for the untouched wilderness and an experience with the Karamojong people. Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Uganda’s most remote and spectacular national parks, located in the northeastern part of the country. It is often referred to as the “Hidden Gem” or the “True African Wilderness” due to its untouched beauty and abundant wildlife. The park’s isolation has preserved its natural splendor, making it a unique and less-visited destination for safari enthusiasts. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including African elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelope species such as elands, oribis, and Jackson’s hartebeests. Kidepo is also an excellent destination for birdwatching, boasting over 475 bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts.

Murchison falls National Park.

The Njia driver will then take you to Murchison Falls National Park, also known as Uganda’s natural wonder. This is the starting point of the safari, and it promises exciting wildlife encounters. The combination of a game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile River offers an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals. Such as the iconic African Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros).  Meanwhile, the Murchison Falls is where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plummets into the Devil’s Cauldron, is a stunning natural spectacle.

Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

The sanctuary is situated approximately 176 kilometers (109 miles) north of the capital city, Kampala, and covers an area of about 7,000 hectares (17,300 acres). It provides a safe and secure environment for the rhinos to thrive and reproduce, as well as promoting education and awareness about rhino conservation.
