Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Pickup at Entebbe Airport

Njia African Adventure driver/guide will transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the area, visiting places like the Botanical Gardens or the Ugandan Wildlife Education Centre. Situated on a peninsula in Lake Victoria, the former seat of Uganda’s government, Entebbe is just a short drive from the current capital and offers plenty to keep visitors amused. This charming town features tree-lined streets and serves as an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area. Tourists can look forward to spending days on beautiful beaches along the banks of Lake Victoria, stroll through the fields and forests of the magnificent Botanical Gardens, or pay a visit to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for country’s orphaned chimps

Day 2Depart Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

Embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest, passing through tea plantations and lush countryside. Kibale Forest is renowned for its diverse primate populations, including habituated chimpanzee groups.

Day 3Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Nature walk

Explore Kibale Forest on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Encounter other primates like red colobus, red-tailed guenon, and more. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary for more wildlife sightings. Kibale Forest National Park, situated in Western Uganda, is famous for its high density of primates, breathtaking crater lakes, and thick, beautiful jungle.

Thirteen primate species inhabit the beautiful tropical forest, including red-tailed monkey, L’Hoest’s monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red colobus, and black and white colobus monkeys. Visitors may spot some of the 300 bird species and 250 butterfly species, and buffalo, forest elephants, leopards, bushbucks, and sitatungas also live in the park but are generally shy. The area is decorated by around 50 enthralling crater lakes and numerous pristine hiking trails. Several cultural tours are on offer which delve into the rich traditions of the Batoro people, giving travelers a chance to see Batoro dancing, singing and traditional healing up close.

Day 4Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and a brief stopover at the Crater Lakes, a biodiverse reserve with varied landscapes.

Day 5Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After breakfast embark on an early morning game drive to witness wildlife at its most active. Head back to the Lodge for lunch and relaxation. Upon completion of your lunch take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos and other animals.

Day 6Depart Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National

Morning breakfast and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth in search of tree climbing Lions. Will continue our Journey to the critically endangered mountain Gorillas. Enjoy the scenic drive and arrive at your Bwindi lodge early evening for dinner and rest.

Day 7Gorilla Trekking and Visit to Batwa Community

Todays the day to embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure. Your driver Guide will lead you to the Ranger station for a pre briefing before setting off for your trek. Upon getting to the gentle giants, spend an hour observing these magnificent primates and back to the Lodge for relaxation.

In the afternoon after your Lunch, visit the Batwa pygmies of Bwindi to learn about their ancient way of life.

Day 8Depart Bwindi for Entebbe and Fly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi

After a morning breakfast, depart Bwindi for a long drive back to Entebbe international Airport. You will have time to refresh and have a meal before your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. Enjoy afternoon game drives to spot wildlife. Lake Nakuru itself is one of the most famous soda lakes in Eastern Africa’s Great Rift Valley lake system and is the heart of Lake Nakuru National Park. The richness of wildlife lends itself to incredible photographic opportunities from captivating landscapes to emotive wildlife portraits. After a day of adventure, you can retreat to the delightful eco-friendly retreat, Lake Nakuru Lodge, enveloped in untamed wilderness.

Day 13Maasai Village Visit and Transfer to Lake Naivasha

After Breakfast, your driver will take you around to visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture. After Lunch you will be transfered to Lake Naivasha National Park and enjoy a boat safari to spot birds and hippos.

Day 14Depart Navasha National Park to Nairobi

Breakfast will be served and your driver will depart the Naivasha to Nairobi and depending on your flight time. We will have a brief city tour including buying souvenirs at the craft shops in Nairobi and drop off to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure.
