The safari will take you to Kidepo Valley National Park for game drives and scenic views before heading to Murchison Falls National Park for game activities and boat cruises on the mighty Nile.
Kidepo Valley National Park.
Located in the far north for the untouched wilderness and an experience with the Karamojong people. Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Uganda’s most remote and spectacular national parks, located in the northeastern part of the country. It is often referred to as the “Hidden Gem” or the “True African Wilderness” due to its untouched beauty and abundant wildlife. The park’s isolation has preserved its natural splendor, making it a unique and less-visited destination for safari enthusiasts. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including African elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelope species such as elands, oribis, and Jackson’s hartebeests. Kidepo is also an excellent destination for birdwatching, boasting over 475 bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
Murchison falls National Park.
The Njia driver will then take you to Murchison Falls National Park, also known as Uganda’s natural wonder. This is the starting point of the safari, and it promises exciting wildlife encounters. The combination of a game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile River offers an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals. Such as the iconic African Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros). Meanwhile, the Murchison Falls is where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plummets into the Devil’s Cauldron, is a stunning natural spectacle.
Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
The sanctuary is situated approximately 176 kilometers (109 miles) north of the capital city, Kampala, and covers an area of about 7,000 hectares (17,300 acres). It provides a safe and secure environment for the rhinos to thrive and reproduce, as well as promoting education and awareness about rhino conservation.
Detailed guide
Day 1: Domestic flight to Kidepo Valley National Park:
Drive to Entebbe or connect directly from your international flight to your domestic flight to Kidepo Valley National Park, where you will drive to the lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive, and then relax at the lodge before sleeping.
Meal Plan: Full board.

Day 2: Narrus Valley full-day game drives
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Narus Valley for your morning game drive. Elephants, giraffes, buffalo antelopes, zebras, and birds are common in Narus Valley. Being the only permanent water point, many animals come to Narus valley to drink water and feed. It’s where you will find the largest buffalo herds than you can find anywhere on planet earth. The likelihood of seeing big cats hunting is also very high. If lucky, you may spot the rare cheetahs too. Return to the Lodge for lunch and relaxation before departing for Narus Valley for an evening game drive.

Day 3: Game drive in Narus and Hot springs visit in Kidepo Valley:
After breakfast, drive to Narus valley to do an extra game drive to trace wildlife that you could have missed on the two-game drives done earlier on. Kidepo Valley National Park is the best and you won’t be disappointed. It will be your pleasure to use one of the park’s observation points. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before driving to Kidepo Valley to see the hot springs, the Uganda-Sudan border, and, if you are lucky, spot the giant ostriches that live here but have been severely poached by Sudanese. There are seasonal rivers on this side so if it is a rainy season, get ready to be interrupted for a few hours. Return to the lodge overnight.

Day 4; Community Experience with the IK and Karamojong communities:
Visiting the IK community on Mt Morungole while in Kidepo valley National Park, the Karamojongs dance and unique culture in the ranges is worth a visit. However, the lk community gather in Villages that are fenced to avoid intruders and wild animals, they will dance, and take you through their culture and you will have an opportunity to get crafts as well.
Furthermore, you will visit the Karamojong homesteads, known as the Manyattas While, here you will then have the opportunity to interact with the elders and get to know more about their culture and lifestyle as well as contributing by making donations of any kind towards their social welfare. As part of our sustainability practice, we take our clients to appreciate their lifestyle and daily activities which include grazing and milking cows. This is the perfect opportunity for those who like to immerse themselves in the cultures of the communities they visit.

Day 5: Domestic flight to Murchison falls and drive to the top of the falls:
Chilled Morning breakfast, and drive from your Lodge to the Airstrip for your domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park in order to enjoy an en-route game drive through the northern section of the park popularly known as Para where you will have chances of spotting many mammals and if luck strikes, big cats hunting. And you will also have an afternoon game drive as well.

Day 6: Morning game drive and evening boat cruise:
Afterward your breakfast, you will then go for a morning game drive. It’s at this time that most animals are feeding while predators are hunting. You will not miss out on spotting buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, hippos, antelopes and so much more, depending on your luck of the day, you may spot large cats hunting as well.
Return to the lodge for lunch for an afternoon boat cruise to the base of the might Victoria Falls on River Nile. Similarly, on this boat cruise, you will have an opportunity to spot many water birds that include crocodiles, hippos, water birds, and other land animals that come to drink water here. Lastly, you will then return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Delta Cruise on the Nile and afternoon game drive:
After a lazy Breakfast and chilled morning at your Lodge, with your packed Lunch your driver guide will lead you to a slow yet rewarding drive to the Top of Murchison falls. The sounds of the thunderous waters of the nile forcing through a narrow Gorge will be worth an adventure. Catch some fruits after the movements while at the Top of the falls before getting back to your Lodge for relaxation and depending on how you feel will aim to go for an evening game drive and back to the Lodge overnight.

Day 8: Domestic flight back to Entebbe to end the trip:
Afterward your breakfast, you will fly back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight out of Uganda.
